James Ellroy is one of dozens of authors whose work is represented in a mammoth new collection from the Library of America entitled, Writing Los Angeles — A Literary Anthology. The collection is edited by David L. Ulin, and comes in just under 900 pages. Other genre authors represented in the collection include Walter Mosley, Raymond Chandler, Chester Himes, James W. Cain, Charles Willeford and Ross MacDonald.
