POINTS:
The novel was first published by Mysterious Press in the U.S. on Sept. 12, 1988. This limited edition of the Big Nowhere was packaged in blue cloth with matching blue slipcase by Ultramarine Press. The limited edition consisted of 350 numbered copies signed by Ellroy. It now appears, however, that contrary to publishing info on the dedication page of the '88 Ultramarine ltd. edition of "Big Nowhere," the planned 40 numbered copies in half-leather and 10 lettered copies in full-leather were never bound.
