A companion book to the Showtime Cable Series of the early 1990s that featured adaptations of short stories by Raymond Chandler, Jim Thompson and Ellroy, among others. The Ellroy tale adapted for the series was Since I Don't Have You. The book contains the original Ellroy short story, as well as the shooting script. Ellroy also supplied the introduction.
